If you are experiencing heating issues in your home, please check the following:
- Are your thermostats set high enough? The set temperature should be at least 1.5 degrees greater than the current room temperature for the heating to turn on. A flame symbol should be visible on your thermostat to indicate the heating is on.
- Are your radiators all turned on? The radiators in the rooms with the thermostats should have their valves turned all the way to the left (+), and the radiators with the numbered valves should be turned all the way to 5.
- Do you have your thermostats running on a timer? (Please note, this is not the optimal way to run the heating system in your home and may negatively impact functionality and increase your energy costs.) If so, please remove the timer functions and set to standard mode.
- Is your boiler/hot water cylinder receiving power? If it does not seem to be receiving power, please check on your fuse board that the relevant switch is turned on.
- Is your external heat pump turned on? Please make sure that the isolator switch next to the heat pump has not been turned off.
- On the screen on the front of your boiler, is the Zone turned on? If it is turned off, please turn it on by highlighting it with the arrows and pressing the power button.
- On the screen on the front of your boiler, is the Zone set to 0.0? If it is set to anything else, please select the Zone and use the up and down arrows to set it to 0.0.
