How Do I Get Connected?
- We provide the ducting for internet service providers to pull through their wiring to allow internet access. There are a number of broadband providers in each local area.
- You can visit bonkers.ie to see which providers are offering internet services for your address. Simply type in your Eircode and a list of providers will come up.
Bonkers.ie update their data regularly and should have information on cabling and broadband for all new areas and Eircodes. If you see that broadband is available in your area, but an individual provider suggests that it’s not, ask them to update their GeoDirectory information, which contains a list of all new Eircodes. When they do, they should be able to confirm that they can provide the service to you.
The Commission for the Regulation of Utilities in Ireland (CRU) has a list of approved price comparison websites, which you can visit to compare utilities prices, including broadband. Visit Commission for Regulation of Utilities to find out more.
