Checking and Maintaining Smoke Alarms
Check smoke alarms weekly to ensure they are working. You can do this by pressing the test button. If you cannot reach the test button, use the handle tip of a sweeping brush to press it.
If you need to replace any of your smoke alarms, you can easily find them in hardware stores, supermarkets or general retailers.
