Maintaining the Kitchen Extractor Fan and Hob
-
- Clean the filters every 9 to 12 months, using a dry cloth.
- If you need to replace filters, contact the kitchen contractor directly. Please refer to your homeowner guide.
- Always turn on the extractor fan 5 minutes before cooking and leave it on for 5-10 minutes after cooking.
- Keep the lids on pots when cooking to minimise steam.
- Wipe induction hobs dry after use.
- Clean grills and ovens regularly, as grease build-up can affect how the extractor fan works.
- Make sure any hob you choose is compatible with the extractor fan Glenveagh has supplied.
- If you decide to use gas for cooking, you need to install a different fan.
- Please bear in mind that installing a gas cooker will void your warranty, so if any extraction issues occur, Glenveagh will not be liable.
